Luxurious Appointments

The LS 600h L interior includes such features as a buffed leather-trimmed steering wheel and Yamaha-crafted wood trim on the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel and passenger-assist grips. In addition, the rear-seat area can be fitted with an available cool box. Accessible to rear passengers, the cool box is a convenient place to store beverages while keeping them nicely chilled. The power rear sunshade raises at the touch of a button and automatically lowers when the car is placed in reverse. Side sunshades are also available, which help keep the cabin cool on sunnier days and can be raised or lowered with the touch of a button. Interior LED lights illuminate the cabin as soon as the driver is within the SmartAccess [1] [2] system range, remaining lit for 15 seconds or until the door is opened. The cabin’s ceiling also features a plush headliner made from Alcantara®, a synthetic material that has the look and feel of suede, but is much more durable and easier to care for.

[1]The SmartAccess system may interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. [2]The engine immobilizer is a state-of-the-art anti-theft system. The key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key matches the code in the vehicle’s immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key, your Lexus dealer can help, or you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high security key services at www.aloa.org. Back to top
