Direct Tire-Pressure Sensors

To help provide maximum grip on the road surface and safer driving, it's crucial to have your tires properly inflated. That’s why the SC features a Direct Tire Pressure Monitor System [1]. When tire pressure is critically low, the tire pressure sensor in the valve stem, which is linked to the SC's computer, alerts you immediately with a light on the instrument panel. The warning light will blink to alert you in the event of a system malfunction.

[1]The Lexus Tire Pressure Monitor System alerts the driver when tire pressure is critically low. For optimal tire wear and performance, tire pressure should be checked regularly with a gauge; do not rely solely on the monitor system. Please see your Owner's Manual for details. Back to top
